Rachelle Rowland, LMT, CMLDT
At the age of 14, I helped care for my grandfather during his final months of life. Giving him massage & witnessing the power of gentle, compassionate touch impacted me deeply. At 18, I followed my grandfather's advice & went to massage therapy school so I could help others the way I had helped him.
With over 20 years of experience as a massage therapist, it is my passion to help people in all states of health experience soothing touch & therapeutic bodywork. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, trained in Swedish massage. I have advanced training in Oncology, Palliative & Hospice massage modalities, as well as certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder technique, the gold standard of MLD). I use these specialized massage techniques to help facilitate the body's natural healing potential, while safely navigating health concerns. I work with clients to tailor each session to their unique goals & needs, no matter where they are in their health journey.
Additionally, I am a certified Palliative Doula with a passion for patient and caregiver advocacy. I offer non-medical services to clients facing life-limiting illness.

What is a sojourner?
A sojourner is someone on a journey, a temporary resident, a pilgrim or a traveler passing through.

We are all sojourners navigating life. I’ve found a great sense of purpose in walking alongside people going through arduous circumstances & supporting them along their journey. I offer massage therapy & palliative doula care to: relieve suffering, elevate spirits & bring a sense of peace & calm. In a very real since, I “sojourn" with my clients, holding space for them as their journey unfolds.
